I'm going down in ranking

I've kept track of my ranking on here and in the last month or so it's gone down! At one time I was up to 190 or so now I'm at 207. I don't think I'm writing anymore infrequently.
What I beleive is happening is that more and more people are using joeuser.com
So I'm competing against more people.

Example say joeuser.com had 500 users then if I was in the middle I would have a rank of 250.
now say joeuser.com has gone up to 1000 users then if I was still in the middle I would have a rank of 500. So even though the rank has gone down the percentile that I'm in could be the same or even higher.
