The trip to mount rainer with my parents was great. I even drove the motor part of the way. When we got there it was wet and when we left it was slightly less let. It was shower for the the whole time we were there. Thankfully one of the days my dad and I hiked up to 8750 feet up onto the muir snowfield and there was brillent sushine we got some great pictures of the head snowfields of the paradise glaciers and of mount rainer next time I want to go to anvil rock which is at 9500 feet. It not that much farther considing you start out at 5400 feet. Camp muir is at 10100 feet it the most popular place for people to summit the peak from.

I was there two years ago. It was that trip that made me realize that a mountain is alot more than just a protruberance from the ground, it is a living thing. It was truly one of the most beautiful places I ever visited and I too hope to do it again. Glad you had the same experience.
