Why do I write

Why do I feel this urge to write?
I want to create something anything. It is very easy for me to just watch t.v. and read the news online for hours and hours. This isn't what I want to do with my life. I want to be one of the doeriers not one of the consumers. That is why I write to get the reassurence that I've done at least something today. And haven't just consumed all day.
